Needing Inspiration

Filed under: Uncategorized — mvervinck @ 7:38 pm

This morning on my way to work, I thought of a lot of different things to write about.  Now, I am sitting down to write and nothing comes to mind!  Everything I have always read says to just start writing, so that’s what I am doing.  At least, the page isn’t blank anymore!

I love this time of year!  It feels and looks like spring is right around the corner.  I love seeing the sun shining both when I go to work and when I come home.  The dark dreary days of winter do really get to me.  I crave the sun, and I can tell that my mood mirrors the weather outside.  The days when it is sunny and warm, I feel so much better and can get so much done.  On the other hand, the days that are dark and dreary make me feel the same way.  I have a feeling that there will be more dark days ahead before spring is really here, but in the meantime, I plan on soaking up as much of the sunshine as possible while it is here.  To that note, guess it is time to put on my sneakers and grab the dog’s leash.  A dose of Vitamin D is desperately needed!

  1. It was so light on my way to school this morning, I kept looking at the clock over and over to assure myself I wasn’t late!

  2. I love when it isn’t dark coming to school and leaving…I guess pretty soon we will lose the like when we change the clocks again. I’m trying to write a bit ahead and am really trying to notice things. Today the kids at school were very sleepy acting. xo

  3. Sometimes I stop myself from writing … because I’m worrying so hard over what to write! I’m only on day 4 of this year’s challenge, and I’m already critiquing the three slices I’ve already posted. Thanks for the reminder to “just write,” to get out of my own way and put words on the page.

  4. It always surprises me when I try to zero in on a moment of time. You did a great job of working through your blocks and writing a reflective piece.
