Where Did the Day Go?

Filed under: Uncategorized — mvervinck @ 1:33 am

Today has been one of those days that just flew by.  I am not sure where the time went, but it sure went fast!  I began the day with an 8:00 class.  We discussed phonetics.  Then, I met with a student and held another class.  We discussed phonetics.  After that, I met with another instructor to discuss some of our upcoming projects: student teaching assignments, center projects, and career night planning.  Then, I tutored a student and used a new program with her that she loved for accent reduction.  Next, I came home to a house full of teenagers and a dog who needed a visit to the vet.  Unfortunately, I had to leave to go teach another class which left my husband to deal with the teenagers and the dog.  Tonight, I got to fill in an teach a beginning ESL class, which was great!  I forgot how enjoyable and fulfilling it is to teach students who are at this level.  When I got home, my poor dog now has a cone on his head.  Poor thing, he keeps choking himself with it.  Now, after my computer finally began to work, I am writing my post.  I think going to bed will happen in the very near future!

This is one of those days that if it weren’t for the 31 day challenge, I wouldn’t be writing!  Thanks, for the incentive to write, no matter how tired or busy the day!

  2. Oh I know this feeling but I am always happy I pushed through to write a few words.
I hope tomorrow is a bit slower for you.
